Publisher Account
Maintaining and improving a legacy publisher product while building its successor: account workflows, RBAC readiness, incident investigation, and support.
- My role
- Frontend engineer, ongoing product maintainer, and support contributor since January 2024.
- Scope & context
- January 2024–present · Legacy React 16.14 / React Router v4 application with federated remote modules.

Overview
Keep an established publisher product usable and supported while its architecture evolves and engineering effort is shared with the new Business Account Platform.
My contribution
- Maintained Publisher Account from joining, contributed to its reskin, and supported ongoing improvement, code review, testing, and QA coordination.
- Researched third-party integrations and refined Web Shop Scoring requirements, API/data models, Google Apps Script synchronization, and support-request workflows.
- Audited remote frontend modules for missing user-role data and mapped them to repositories to prepare the RBAC rollout with the tech lead.
- Investigated login and access issues, used Datadog APM spans to isolate a backend/database connectivity failure, and coordinated a SQL data correction with backend engineers.
- Started a support knowledge base to reduce repeat escalations; worked on project search, favorites, tags, grouping, empty/error states, and project-context reliability.
Outcomes & status
Sustained product and support coverage while contributing to the successor platform. Incident investigation produced an actionable backend diagnosis, and RBAC audits identified integration gaps for the rollout.
As of September 2026, projects-list and project-context improvements remained an active delivery workstream alongside ongoing support.
